Variety Show of Heart Scholarship

Melissa received a 2013 Variety Show of Heart Scholarship. Without this scholarship she would not be able to attend or achieve as much as she has. The scholarship goes towards her fees for dancing, singing and acting classes at Essential Talent. Singing is with the youth group. However, dancing and acting are specialised for young people with a disability.

She is a member of the Essential Talent Symphony of Souls Senior Specialised Dance Group. Melissa has competed in 2 dance competitions. CanDance Australia and SA Stage Dance Society Competitions now include a category for a specialised troupe and they received 1st place in both and had an experience they will never.

They have also performed at other functions including the Buddy Walk Family day, CanDance Australia performance night, Foundation 21 Gala Dinner and Variety from the heart Cocktail Party.
