Variety Show Of Hearts Scholarship

Brandon Swain received a Show of Hearts Scholarship in 2012 for Sport which went towards him purchasing a Hand Cycle. In 2010 Brandon had a car accident and became a paraplegic. Since the accident he has taken up Rowing and Hand Cycling. The Hand Cycle is used as cross training for Rowing as well as being a sport in itself. Brandon recently took part in The Variety Cycle riding from his home town of Tintinara to Tailem Bend with Turia Pitt and the other riders. He said the ride was Awesome, without the help of Variety for this scholarship he wouldn't have been able to achieve what he has.
